History

The Eleventh Hour Baptist Church was established in August 1999, under the leadership of Reverend Samuel S. Prioleau. The founders were Rev. SS Prioleu, Deacon John Felks, Deacon William Smalls, Deacon Leroy Holman, Trustees Johnny Goodwin, Deacon George Williams, Deaconess Anna Williams and our Church Father William Washington, Sr.

Our church emphasizes family and community. Members of this church have been able to expand the worship beyond the walls of this physical building reaching the community of Holly Hill and surrounding areas.

The Church was initially referred to as "Christian Fellowship for Christ." The services were held at the Holly Hill Depot. Eventually under the Lord's favor the church was able to purchase and restore it's current building on Old State Road in Holly Hill, SC. The Church was rededicated and the name was changed to "The Eleventh Hour Church for All People," and then to "The Eleventh Hour Baptist Church." At last the sanctuary was completed.

In March 2003 Reverend Rodriquez Scott was installed as the Pastor. Under his leadership the dining area was completed along with the Pastor's study.   In September 2004, Reverend Edmund Riggins was installed as our Pastor. Under his leadership Deaconess Lauree Felks was licensed as a minister, and trustee George Williams was installed as a Deacon. The fellowship hall was completed and furnished, along with a new sound system and church computer. But most importantly we grew more spiritual in the Lord.

The year 2007 brought more blessings. Minister Felks was ordained as a Reverend, we installed our first church father, and our church was also able to purchase a marquee sign.

As we look to the future, we pray for continued spiritual growth for our entire church body. We thank everyone for their continued support. Let us all remember with faith all things are possible.
